Do you have a reluctant writer? Do you have an excited writer but they need inspiration?

I have an answer that is SO much fun (yes, I love my job!). I get to play and laugh and say ridiculous things that encourage kids to WANT to write. Kids get to laugh and play and say RIDICULOUS things that lead to wanting to write!

What IS this magic?

It's called Druidawn. It is an RPG (role playing game) that is similar to one you would be familiar with, Dungeons and Dragons. Druidawn is like D&D BUT with a creative writing element.

My beginner class is ages 8-18, most kids are ages 9-12.

Some of my learners have RPG experience but most do not.

The beginner Druidawn class leads into a plethora of adventures.

Elves, dragons, magic, Druids, mythical creatures, bows with enchanted arrows, potions and fun!

Druidawn® is a cooperative, interactive role playing game that uses creative writing and problem solving to overcome obstacles in a group setting.

“Land, Ahoy?, “ calls the captain. He peers through his scope and yes, there on the horizon is an island. He has sailed this ocean countless times, is he forgetting the existence of an entire island? He rushes to his cabin to check over his maps, none show an island in this location!
